Quieres Cantar en la Nieve?

Heh heh. We're learning about movies in Spanish. This one is a musical. Though I'm sure all of you could translate this, I'll do it for you. It's "Do you want to sing in the snow?".

For horror it's "El Monstruo de la Montana" or, "The monster of the mountain".

The adventure film is "Adventure in the Ruins". And there's a picture of Indiana Jones. Well, it's him. But it doesn't say it is.

I love those films. They're so funny.

Today we were watching my parody during activity. We were almost to the outtakes and Dain decided to press stop. So we had to start over. For some reason it wouldn't fast foward.

I got Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0. Maybe I'll be a film producer when I grow up. That'd be fun.

Or a director. I would be a great director. I could say, "Bench, do this", or "Bench, do that". I could even be in charge of where we put the bench.

I've had so many symbols from YAGMCB recently. I've been depressed. I had to edit something with that in it, and I was reading the comics. And Margaret's away message is, "Supp3r Tim3". First I thought it was "Super Tim" and I wondered if she knew Tim.

But then I read it again.

We need to do something for the variety show.

Okay, you're all wrong. Depression is a psychiatric disorder characterized by an inability to concentrate, insomnia, loss of appetite, anhedonia, feelings of extreme sadness, guilt, helplessness and hopelessness, and thoughts of death. It's also called clinical depression. I thank dictionary.com for that definition.

Being depressed can be caused by various things, not just having your "heart and soul ripped out three times in less than two months" to quote everybody dance now. Obviously, you've never been in a show. Sam has a right to be depressed (which, by definition, is "Low in spirits; dejected") after his show ended. During a show, you tend to bond with the other cast members. Then, as suddenly as everyone bonded, the show ends, they're never to see each other again unless one of them gets the courage to talk to someone else outside the show. It can be very hard to go through. Think of it this way, since you seem to have trouble putting yourself in his shoes. You just made 15 good friends or so in a period of 2 or 3 months. You're all very close. Then, suddenly, POOF! You're never to see them again. Now, add that to this: Imagine that you've been working on a something for 2 or 3 months. It's been a lot of fun, and you really enjoy. Suddenly, you're done with it. What time you used to spend working on this is suddenly empty. I'm sorry you had your heart and soul ripped out three times in the past two months, but don't say Sam isn't depressed. He may not be as saddened as you, but he certainly isn't as happy as he used to be.

wow, this is a cheerful conversation

I realize that i am probably wrong and have like NO PART in this conversation, however, if every body dance now said he is "dead emotionally" wouldn't the feeling of the plays ending be dead for him? or am i wrong? i probably am.

Ok.. umm... so you WERN'T dead emotionally when the plays ended? because if you were, well, it isn't fair to say that a play ending means Sam shouldn't be depressed because you couldn't feel it anyway. Or if the plays ending CAUSED you to be dead emotionally it's basically the same thing that Sam is complaining about. except you more so. But if it's neither, well... i don't KNOW! i'm CONFUSED!

advice concerning depression(though no one cares):remember your blessings:count your fingers (if you've got any you're better off than a whole lot of railroad workers in the 1800's)..be thankful for the food you have (50% of sub-saharan africa lives on less than $1 day)...and yea. cherish life.
