The Meadow II

Today, I talked with a friend about life and mortality, about whether we waste our time learning or about whether we learn so we don't waste our time, about whether there was any point in living or if we should just try to enjoy the ride.

Then he had to leave to study for finals.

Actually, the whole point of life is to spell "there" correctly. So you have failed at life. :)

It bothers me that people do not talk about mortality. We are forced to think about it when we are all alone trying to fall asleep at night.

A camp friend of mine (I'm at camp right now) lent me a book called The Tao of Pooh, and it reminded me of this post. I think you'd like it! It's a persuasive essay (of sorts) about how Winney The Pooh is Taoist, and it talks about morality and how people are too busy...
